Adapting Ten Black Dots

After reading Donald Crew's Ten Black Dots, students create a page for a class book. This story sparks imagination as students transform dots into various objects to tell their own unique stories.

If you don’t have time to write, draw, and illustrate every number, consider having each student create a different page from 1-10 or assign every student the same number of dots.

When students have finished, use the Project Wizard to combine the pages into a class book. This class book can then be shared with parents, serving as a delightful showcase of the students' creativity and storytelling abilities.
