Show Favorite Sports with a Bar Graph

Representing and interpreting data is a common theme in elementary mathematics instruction.

The Favorite Sport Bar Graph template is designed with third graders in mind, but can easily be modified and used with other grade-level students. In fact, it would not require a lot of time to modify the content (from favorite sport to favorite desserts, for example) and summary questions from page three.

Avoid using a one-to-one unit correlation for the bar graph, especially if you are working with intermediate-level students. Even second graders could handle partitioning the box in half, in which each box equals two.
