Idioms are found in every language. This form of figurative language can be both fun and confusing because the meaning is often wildly different from what the words really mean!

In this activity, students create facing pages that show both the literal and actual meaning of the phrases, opening up the fun part of idioms, while helping learners apply them in a visual context and deepen understanding of what they really mean.
