Powerful Paint Tool Projects
Grades: PK-2
Powerful Paint Tool Projects
Powerful projects don't require complex tools. Use these ideas as a jumping off point for taking advantage of paint tools that students likely already know how to use.
Create a custom profile image
Having students create a custom profile image is a fun way for them to personalize their learning while learning how to use the paint tools in Wixie. Profile images that are all unique will make it easier for you to visually locate student work in your Wixie account the rest of the year.
Have students select the profile image icon in the upper right corner and choose Set Profile Image.
Flag Design
In primary grades, students learn that the symbols for a country represent its history and values. Ask them to use the paint tools to design a flag that represents their interests.
By my house maps
Build foundational map skills by asking students to share things that are located to the north, south, east, and west of their home. Ask parents to help students identify key places, like a park, pool, or baseball field.
Blank Canvas Masterpieces
While a blank page can be scary, it is also a symbol of what each of us is capable of creating. In the words of Peter Reynolds, let your students "be swept away by the glorious, wonderful, empty, page."
