You can measure lengths on a page with an inch ruler.
Click the Arrow button on the tool palette.
You will see the Page editing panel.
Click the Inch Ruler button.
You will see the ruler on the page.
Click the drag the ruler around the page.
Click and drag the handle to rotate the ruler.
