Special Edition: Thanksgiving eCard Contest Winners!

This year, we invited students from Tech4Learning Innovative Educators (TIEs) to help design our official Thanksgiving eCard, and the response was nothing short of inspiring.

After reviewing a multitude of submissions bursting with creativity and heartfelt messages of thankfulness, we are thrilled to announce the winners!

Grand Prize

We couldn't choose just one grand prize, so we are awarding two 5th students for their work - Jordan and Zayden. These amazing 5th graders were lead by Chandra Kosmicki of Grand Island Public Schools in Nebraska.

Their designs stood out for their combination of creativity and originality, with a clear design that reflected the themes of gratitude and Thanksgiving... not to mention great use of Wixie's features.

Honorable Mentions

Thank you to all students (and teachers) for their submissions; we had such a delightful time reviewing the entries! These 5 stood out as honorable mentions.

Overall Design

The first honorable mention goes to Elijah, a student of Matt Heiser in Fort Plain, NY.

Theme

These 2 honorable mentions for theme had outstanding messages of gratitude and thanksgiving.

We especially loved this warm message from Eden, a student of Angela Heidgerd in Waterbury, Connecticut.

An honorable mention also goes to Angela's student, Idris.

Creativity

Some entries simply made us smile.

The first is an animated card from Julien of Waterbury, Connecticut.

And this great animated story from Madelyn of Grand Island, Nebraska.
